Keeping your pet clean
Whilst bath time isn’t the favourite activity for many pets, it’s something that needs to be done. Regularly bathing your cat or dog helps to remove dirt, reduce oil, keep away pests and parasites, soften their fur and generally keep their skin and coat healthy. Whilst they don’t need daily cleaning like we do, they do need regular baths, usually around once a month depending on skin type (or more if they tend to get particularly dirty!). To wash your pet, place them in either the sink, tub or bath depending on size. Make sure you avoid chemicals when bathing; using a natural pet shampoo to clean your pet will help to care for their skin and fur without irritating or causing issues. Washing their fur on a regular basis can also help them to keep their fur looking soft and beautiful and can keep any unpleasant odours at bay.
Grooming Shampoo key ingredients
To use, simply apply the shampoo to wet fur and rub into a lather. Make sure to cover all of your pet’s fur and thoroughly rub in to remove dirt and debris. If preferred, you can also dilute the shampoo in some water before applying to your pet’s fur. The amount of product needed will depend on your pet’s size and if required you can repeat after rinsing. For best results, follow up with Animigo’s Grooming Conditioner and for longer haired pooches, the Dog Fur Detangler (for dogs only).
